Annual Meeting

This year's ASCRS Symposium on Cataract, IOL and Refractive Surgery, ASOA Congress on Ophthalmic Practice Management, and Technicians & Nurses Program will help keep you on the leading edge of ophthalmic surgery and practice.

The host city, San Diego, has long been a favorite venue for the Symposium and Congress. The San Diego Convention Center is located on sparkling San Diego Bay in the heart of a vibrant downtown. It offers world-class dining, entertainment, shopping, and fantastic weather. It is the perfect base for golf and day trips to surrounding attractions.

ASCRS and ASOA offer the most important educational programs for the anterior segment surgeon, as well as a special track for the comprehensive ophthalmologist. Our programs feature the most up-to-date techniques and innovations, hands-on skills training, extensive practice management educational opportunities, and quality clinical and surgical offerings for technicians and nurses.

Tours/Entertainment
ASCRS•ASOA will not host tours in San Diego. There are many opportunities to visit the city through your hotel. Weather
San Diego's sun-sational climate makes it the ultimate year-round destination. Wear layers that can be removed or added. An umbrella is a good idea. The average weather temperature in San Diego in March is 66°F-52°F.
