ASOA Offers Complimentary June Webinars to Both ASCRS and ASOA Members
In honor of ASOA Member Appreciation Month, ASOA is offering June webinars at no charge to both ASOA and ASCRS members.
“Business Operations: Overcoming Challenges of Clinical Flow” will be held Wednesday, June 15, from 2 to 3 p.m. EDT. Led by Jane Shuman, MS, COE, COT, OCS, this webinar addresses clinical flow—a problem for many practices that manifests itself in long patient wait times, doctors noticing starts and stops during the day and stressed employees. There is often more than one reason for these patterns; it may be the schedule or the manner in which your space and staff are utilized. “Business Operations: Overcoming Challenges of Clinical Flow” will help you determine which of these factors is affecting the flow in your office.
On Thursday, June 30, “Developing a Culture of Conscious Leaders” will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. EDT. Never before has so much rapid change occurred in health care. This accelerated pace is becoming the “new normal” as health care organizations become change agents in the dynamic health care terrain. How do we cultivate an organizational culture that encourages staff and leaders to embrace the challenges of accelerated change? One organization is making a business case for Conscious Leadership, with a measurable impact on employee and patient engagement and satisfaction. Attendees of this webinar will glean knowledge of an overview of conscious leadership concepts to impact a positive culture change in your organization. Speakers for this webinar represent Greenville Health System and include Carole Anne Hoffer, MA, FACMPE, practice optimization manager; Tod Tappert, chief of staff; and Sharon L. Wilson, MA, FACHE, CEAP, director of conscious leadership development.
Details for both webinars may be found on the ASOA website. You and your practice management staff are encouraged to attend!
