ASCRS Lecture on Science and Medicine

The Lecture on Science and Medicine was established by ASCRS as a forum for expanding and enriching our appreciation of fields of science and medicine outside ophthalmology.  The annual lecture, which is presented during the annual ASCRS-ASOA Symposium and Congress, aims to encourage attendees to think about larger issues in the practice of medicine and honors those whose curiosity and constant striving for innovation have led them to investigate aspects of medicine and science that broaden, enliven, and inspire.
