Each spring, ASCRS conducts a comprehensive and challenging five-day symposium for members. Cutting–edge information and research into all areas of anterior segment and refractive surgery are presented through symposia, scientific papers, courses, films, posters, and exhibits. Members earn CME credits, discuss cases, share expertise, and gain tangible knowledge that directly affects surgical outcomes. In 2011, ASCRS introduced a comprehensive business management track for doctors. Concurrently, ASOA conducts a five-day congress for ophthalmic administrators, nurses, and technicians.
