Advocate for Ophthalmology: Represent ASCRS at the 2018 Alliance of Specialty Medicine Legislative Fly-In

Whether you’re an experienced advocate or just interested in learning more about the policymaking process, consider attending the 2018 Alliance of Specialty Medicine Legislative Fly-In, to be held in Washington, D.C., July 16–18.

As always, ASCRS and ASOA member attendees will receive in-depth training on policy issues important to ophthalmology and the specialty medicine community, and will have the opportunity to meet with their Representative and Senators to lobby for those legislative issues.

Because of its increased popularity and the rising costs associated with the Fly-In, we will reimburse up to a maximum of $1,000 in travel expenses. Additionally, we have limited space, so we are reserving the right to select participants in order to ensure maximum geographic representation at our Capitol Hill meetings.

The complete agenda is still being developed, but please find below a sample agenda (based on previous years) and expect to follow the same general format in 2018.
