Late this afternoon, CMS announced that 2017 MIPS final scores and performance feedback reports, which include 2019 payment adjustment information, are now available on the Quality Payment Program (QPP) website. MIPS participants can log into the QPP site using their Enterprise Identity Management (EIDM) credentials. CMS will not be distributing feedback reports to physicians through email or U.S. mail; MIPS participants must log into the QPP site to access their reports. As a reminder, 2017 was the first performance year of MIPS, which impacts 2019 payment. Feedback reports for MIPS Alternative Payment Models (APMs) that do not qualify as Advanced APMs, such as Medicare Shared Savings Track 1 Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), are also available on the QPP site.
If you do not have an EIDM account, use this guide to begin creating an account.
If you need technical assistance accessing your report, call CMS’ QPP helpline at 866-288-8292. If you have additional questions, contact Allison Madson, manager of regulatory affairs, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
