We would introduce a modified sulcus-fixation technique of standard capsular tension ring (CTR) in in cataract surgery with unstable lens capsule to stabilize the lens capsule. A standard CTR anchored with a 10-0 prolene suture was inserted in the bag. The CTR was sulcus-fixated at the 2-3mm posterior to the limbus using the 10-0 prolene suture after intraocular lens implantation in the bag.
