This presentation outlines the mid-term results of Bowman Layer Transplantation performed for advanced, progressive keratoconus. It shows that Bowman Layer Transplantation was effective in preserving visual acuity and contact lens tolerance (bearing a minimal risk for complications) potentially allowing long term postponement of penetrating keratoplasty or deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty.
