Management of chronic angle closure glaucoma can be challenging. We present a new implant made up of PMMA ring with 5 claws arranged circumferentially around the ring. After gonio-synechialysis, the device is inserted in the anterior chamber and iris tissue is enclaved in each of the claws. This keeps the peripheral iris away from the angle and prevents re-synechiae. We believe this device is promising in management of refractory angle closure glaucoma.
