Self-Assessment CME

ABO Self-Assessment CME (SACME) Credit

ASCRS has offered pre-approved ABO Self-Assessment CME (SACME) credit for select ASCRS ASOA Annual Meeting sessions from 2014-2019. For a list of sessions that were pre-approved for self-assessment credit by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO) for a particular year, please see below.

REPORTING SACME

Complete your standard CME evaluation and keep track of the sessions you attended to report them within your standard ABO MOC credit reporting. MOC credit is self-reported by the learner and must be tracked individually. Credit designated as “self-assessment” is AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ and is also pre-approved by the ABO for the MOC Part II CME requirements.

Note: ASCRS does not keep track of the SACME sessions any specific individual attends and will not be able to provide a report containing this information.
