Course Description
Course will discusses why new IOLs, phaco machines, femtolaser are making cataract similar to refractive surgery. Best quality of vision depends by po refractive outcomes.This requires customization of IOL choice,accurate biometry, adoption of mechanical capsulotomy , hard nucleus splitting if needed and multifocal-multifocal toric IOLs implantation. Tear film high quality is determinant. Related MGD treatments will be analyze and discussed.

Jack T. Holladay, MD, ABO
Dr. Jack T. Holladay is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, who received a Medical Degree and Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Texas and a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. He is a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Chang has been regularly voted by his peers into the national edition of Best Doctors in America and is listed by Beckers Review as one of the top 39 ophthalmologists in the United States. He has maintained his private practice in Los Altos and developed and founded the Peninsula Eye Surgery Center, which opened in 2005. 
Eric D. Donnenfeld, MD, FAAO
Eric Donnenfeld, MD, FAAO, is an internationally recognized authority in the field of refractive, corneal and laser cataract surgery. Throughout his more than 20-year career as a Long Island LASIK surgeon, Dr. Donnenfeld has successfully performed tens of thousands of laser eye vision correction procedures.
Matteo Piovella, MD
Matteo Piovella, MD is Director of the Centro di Microchirurgia Ambulatoriale. In 1992 he founded the CMA, Center for Outpatient Microsurgery based in Monza (MI), an innovative structure and reference for ophthalmology outpatient surgery in Italy, where he currently serves as the Scientific Director.
