This session will focus on ASCRS’ draft voluntary alternative payment model (APM) for cataract surgery that will give surgeons the option to delivery same-day bilateral cataract surgery. Following an overview of the development of APMs and current initiatives underway, a panel of physician experts will discuss various aspects of the model, as well as the evolution of same-day, bilateral cataract surgery, including the safety and advancements.
