Intraoperative floppy iris syndrome occurs commonly during cataract surgery and can cause various complications particularly for a surgeon in training. The aim of this video is to present on a series of cases possible strategies that can be used to manage the IFIS by a resident in training, including pharmacological strategies, adjustment of surgical technique and pupil expansion devices.
