To create an additional support for the lens capsule, fixate it just behind the pupil and avoid vitreous prolapse we performed just after capsulorhexis implantation 2/3 of the ring into the capsule bag and place its other end on the iris. After cleaning of all the cortical masses, we can implant the part of the ring that was on the iris into the capsular bag or remove it totally from eye.
