Course Description
Course will describe the canaloplasty technique, surgical steps, devices used (iTrack Advance, OMNI), mechanisms of action and how it effectively lowers IOP. We will also describe combining this technique with fluorescein channelography, which is used to visualize the aqueous outflow and gives an idea about the function of the natural outflow pathway. This could have a predictive value for the level of IOP reduction achievable with the surgery.

Educational Objective
The learner will be able to understand the basics of canaloplasty technique as a minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) used in treating patients with open angle glaucoma and to consider combining this procedure with fluorescein channelography due to its potential benefits in evaluating the natural outflow system during the surgery.
