An 18 yo M presented with alkaline chemical and thermal burn after firework injury. One week after medical management, Prokera was replaced with full amniotic membrane transplantation using sutureless technique first described by Shanberg et al. in 2019 for SJS. A custom-fit symblepharon ring was used to secure a 5x10 mm amniotic membrane with cyanoacrylate glue to cover the entire ocular surface.
