June is Cataract Awareness Month. ASCRS, as the Society dedicated to cataract surgeons, is already beginning to put together materials in recognition of this month. This year, the Society is going to focus on patient education—what you, the surgeon, want the patient to know about cataract surgery. Please take our 2-minute survey to help inform what you want patients to know most about the procedure.

Thanks to ASCRS Grand Rounds you no longer need to be part of an academic institution (or leave your house for that matter) to take in this fascinating, case-based learning format. Even if you are part of an academic institution, ASCRS Grand Rounds brings the cases and perspectives from different programs from across the country and pairs them with ASCRS leadership for the most effective knowledge sharing. There are three hour-long ASCRS Grand Rounds programs each approved for up to 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. In addition, there are a dozen other enduring ASCRS Grand Rounds episodes on demand. More than 1,000 physicians have engaged with ASCRS Ground Rounds. Make sure you take the opportunity to join them from your practice, your home, or wherever life takes you. |
