Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the key factors for achieving your toric outcomes- avoiding pitfalls when measuring eyes, formulas and alignment methods, selecting toric IOLs for post-refractive eyes.
  • Examine best practices for pre-, intra-, and postoperative planning and execution of toric IOLs to improve outcomes in the surgical management of astigmatism.
  • Review enhancement strategies to manage astigmatism in cataract patients.
