Intumescent cataract surgery is a challenge. Phacoemulsification can be performed avoiding viscoelastic substance, maintaining the anterior chamber with balance salt solution circulation, creating a positive pressure. After dyeing with trypan blue the anterior capsule, with this technique is easy to avoid the "Argentinian sign" with the aid of the centripetal liquid circulation.
