Cataract surgery with low IOP has many advantages when considering damages to the intraocular tissues. However, instability of the posterior capsule can be a problem with low-IOP cataract surgery particularly when an occlusion break occurs. We will experimentally verify the optimal IOP during cataract surgery using the slit side-view method and validate it in clinical cases.
