Advanced keratoconus treatment is a real challenge. This video illustrates a new technique that combines the principles of intrastromal ring segments and bowman layer transplantation having a different thickness in the periphery of the transplanted tissue. Results have shown a similar safety profile with greater reductions in KMAX compared with patients that were treated using other techniques.
