Incomplete dissection during femtosecond performance, can become a serious intraoperative complication. We propose flaphorrhexis technique, which implies identification of the incomplete cut area, followed by side cut and raster dissection and then lifting of the adjacent area in a circular manner. We believe this approach provides a safer way to complete the flap and decreases complication rate.
