Intraoperative Floppy Iris Syndrome is a serious intraop problem in patients who are on alpha blockers tamsulosin for BPH. We described 7 protocols you need to follow to overcome the IFIS problem and prevent complications like iris shaffing, iridodialysis, PCR etc. Importance of taking proper history good preop workup and following intraop protocols in IFIS patients cannot be over emphasised.
