Attempting the recovery of a dislocated in-the-bag capsular tension ring and intraocular lens poses intraoperative challenges, leading us to seek unforeseen solutions. On this occasion, after resecuring the capsular bag-ring complex, the intraocular lens was positioned over its remnants, and the friction between the haptics and the ring proved enough to maintain pseudophakia stability.
