69-year-old female patient with senile cataract. Biomicroscopy revealed characteristic map-dot-fingerprint lesions, as well as abundant endothelial guttae. Upon admission, the patient had visual acuity of 20/400 and 20/800. She decided to perform cataract surgery, obtaining final visual acuity of 20/60 in the left eye, and she is in the cataract surgery protocol in the contralateral eye.
