Through an iterative collaboration with VR developers, we created the world’s first haptic-based VR simulator for Gonioscopy-Assisted Transluminal Trabeculotomy (GATT). Our simulator replicates intricate ocular anatomy, has tactile feedback, and provides skill development in gonioscopy and in bi-manual angle surgery. The ease of scalability has huge educational potential.
