Course Description
This diagram- and video-based course will analyze how to perform DALK with different techniques: hydrodissection, layer-by-layer manual dissection, peeling off, needle big bubble, cannula big bubble, air-visco-bubble, and new technique to open the big bubble. The pros and cons of each technique, as well as complications and their management, will be discussed. Types of big bubble, with their clinical and surgical implications will be presented.

Educational Objective
At the end of this course, the attendees will be able to move from Penetrating Keratoplasty (PK) to Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty (DALK).
