Multifocal IOLs are not suitable for about 5% of cases. In such cases, surgery can be easier if the lens is replaced early. We replaced a multifocal IOL (ZNB00, AMO) which was implanted 10 years ago with a Light Adjustable Lens™ ( LAL®, Rxsight) in a 67-year-old male. This resolved the patient's long-standing dissatisfaction, and we will explain the replacement procedure and key points.
