The technique used in approval studies for Durysta (Bimatoprost 10 microgram intracemeral biodegradable implant) involved supine positioning of the patient, using an eyelid speculum, and use of a second instrument. We describe a slit lamp insertion technique without the need for an eyelid speculum or second instrument. This has allowed for a more comfortable experience for the patient and doctor.
