This video shows a new way of corneal reinforcement for those extreme cases of pellucid marginal degeneration. This new way of increasing peripheral thickness is called Intrastromal Lamellar Keratoplasty and it is significantly better in term of time of surgery, it has faster rehabilitation and has fewer post-op complications comparing to the traditional peripheral crescentic keratoplasty.
