Ab-interno canaloplasty combined with phacoemulsification avoids the risks of multiple surgeries for concomitant cataract and glaucoma, and ensures high safety due to minimal tissue disruption. Starting the combined procedure with canaloplasty can provide better corneal clarity and anterior chamber stability for the circumnavigation and pressurized viscodilation of Schlemm’s canal.
