A failed Xen gel stent is rescued through a small incision subtenon space, and a new Xen gel stent is placed in the subtenon space using the ab externo method. Mitomycin-C is delivered in a novel way to minimize toxicity and avascular bleb formation. Fibrin glue is used to close the incision site.
