A 53-year-old woman consulted with the desire for independence of eyeglasses. Cataract surgery was performed in both eyes with multifocal intraocular lens implantation. She developed bilateral endophthalmitis at the month of evolution. We will describe the evolution of this case as well as the pre, intra and post-surgical tactics to prevent this pathology.
