This film shows a new multi-purpose chopper that we developed for cataract surgery. Manipulation of the nucleus and cortex inside the eye is favorable because of the two protrusions at the tip and it is easy to divide the nucleus. Because of the indentation on the side, this device can be used instead of a push and pull hook and useful for IFIS and PE cases.
