We present 2 cases of anterior capsule complications during FLACS. Case 1: a partial capsulotomy occurred when the resident inadvertently came off the foot pedal. The capsulotomy radialized in both directions. Case 2: six radial slices (nuclear frag pattern) occurred in the anterior capsule due to slow suction loss. In both cases, the cataract was safely removed and a toric IOL was placed.
