This film demonstrates a novel surgical technique to enlarge or shrink the size of endocapsular supporting elements (i.e. CTRs, MCTRs, and CTSs) in cases in which an abnormal capsular bag size is encountered. This film covers important surgical principles and pearls for cataract surgeries in eyes with conditions such as megalo-anterior segment, extreme axial myopia, nanophthalmos, microspherophakia, and coloboma-related anterior microphthalmos.
