Description
IOL and Artificial Iris (AI) are implanted using double needle scleral fixation technique. In the first step the IOL is attached to the AI. AI is trimmed to 10.5mm and in an angle of 10 degrees the 30g needle perforates the AI 2.7mm from the edge of pupil. The needle is fed with IOL haptic and puled out introducing the haptic on the front side of AI. The complex is than implanted into the post traumatic aniridic eye using double 30g needle scleral fixation technique.
