Our center offers nanolaser photofragmentation with the Cetus system (A.R.C. Laser), a procedure that is performed with all single use instruments, even in patients who present with harder cataracts. This technique is gentler that phacoemulsification, requiring about one-tenth the energy, and requires conversion in less than 1% of the cases.
