Description
Demonstration of SimulEYE iris suturing training model for the use of simulating the Yamane technique of intraocular lens scleral fixation. Variations using offset sclerotomies 1 clock hour counter-clockwise, and a novel modification adding a nasal paracentesis to facilitate haptic docking are also shown. Practicing advanced anterior segment techniques are useful for maintaining surgical skills.
