A new pupillary expander made of titinaum alloy has recently been made available for cataract surgeons. This video illustrates the use and safety of this device to assist in the intraoperative capsular support in complex cases, such as pseudoexfoliation, traumatic cataracts among others. Video clips from the Miyake-Apple view, as well as surgical videos are demonstrated.
