A 54 year-old female with a complex past ocular history including globe rupture and retinal detachment presented with intraocular lens (IOL) subluxation of the left eye. The IOL was partially out of the capsular bag. Prior iris damage precluded iris fixation. The superior haptic is fixated to the sclera in an ab externo fashion with 10-0 prolene.
