Double-needle technique is a popular method of intrascleral intraocular lens fixation. However, there is some difficulty in intraocular manipulation, angled sclerotomy, and adjusting lens position. Here, we show an improved method penetrating the eye with 27-gauge blunted needles through perpendicular sclerotomy under scleral flap following haptic insertion with 30-gauge ultrathin needles.
