An usual technique of IOL explantation in case ofremoval or exchange necessity includes fragmentation into 2 to 4 parts. A 3.2 - 3.5 mm incision is required. The suggested technique includes incomplete fragmentaion by 2-3 incisions on each side of the optic part creating a zigzag incision. This allowes IOL removal en bloc with pulling and rotating movements through a 2.0 - 2.2 mm incision.
