Recently, we have been encountering more cases of intraocular lens (IOL) extraction for IOL subluxation or dislocation than before. Conventional method with cutting the IOL using forceps and extracting through small incision may cause damages of corneal endothelium or iris. To minimize these complications, we introduce our new technique for IOL extraction combining cartridge and forceps.
