Our patient underwent surgery for traumatic cataract with retinal detachment. secondary IOL implantation in the sulcus was planned. To achieve the best possible centration with stable IOL position, femtosecond laser assisted posterior capsulorhexis and optic capture of a 3 piece IOL was done, ensuring a stable IOL with accurate centration and the best possible outcome in our case.
