A 5 year old boy with VKH syndrome suffered OU Band Keratopathy and white cataracts.
OU PTK was followed by OS cataract surgery, a thick membrane on lens surface was removed. Lens was cleared and left intact.
In OD surgery, membrane was markedly adherent. While lens excision seemed inevitable, meticulous and tedious membrane dissection ended in clearing natural lens which remained so in follow up.
