Cataract blindness will be affected in 2020 about 40.000.000 people in the world. For lowering the eye damage, we developed forceps that aid in the mechanical fragmentation of the nucleus and decrease the amount of ultrasound used in surgery. Its effectiveness was experimentally demonstrated in pig eyes. We are presenting the experimental results and demonstrated the technique for its use.
