The dexamethasone intravitreal implant may inadvertently inject into the the lens instead of the vitreous. A cataract surgeon's use of the Femtosecond laser provides both the surgeon and laser imaging to allow for strategic removal of lens and minimizing potential complications. The precision with laser minimized capsular bag stress thus limit further complexity of lens removal.
