Capsular contraction is a postoperative complication, characterized by opacification of anterior capsule, capsulorhexis contraction and IOL decentration. Several treatment options have been described, as femtosecond laser, a new option that would have advantages over the others, making a cut more controlled and precise of capsular phimosis and avoid further dislocation of the intraocular lens.
