Severe chemical injury often carries high ocular morbidity. Despite maximal medical therapy, severe chemical injury often have significant anterior segment injury, results in anterior segment hypoxia, persistent epithelial defect and hypony. Tenonplasty with cryopreserved amniotic membrane is a useful technique to re-establish vascular supply and corneal epithelialization.
